Kathy Mullins hosted some delightful ladies in the “World Knit in Public Day”, which this month was in support of the victims of the Orlando night club tragedy.
The Gheerulla Hall Monthly General Meeting began at 4 pm. – It was a productive and inspiring meeting. The new Management Committee are actively undertaking the administrative and funding challenges due to the major maintenance and stabilising work required to the Hall and amenities. We are appreciative and inspired by the attendance at and contributions to the meeting by so many people; especially by Don and Gail Johnson and Brian Smith, from the Ridgewood Hall (President, Mainstay and Secretary). The guidance and support from Sunshine Coast Regional Council ‘Smarty Grants’ Team, Kenilworth Groups, Local Businesses, our local MP, Peter Wellington and Individuals, has been overwhelmingly supportive and very much appreciated! Thank you all!
